libreprojects.org tries to ease the creation of a distributed platform for collaborative work in order to share free (libre) knowledge about any topic.

To make that possible, it tries to simplify the installation and creation of other free (libres) knowledge initiatives and their organized merging.

This text shows some recommendations about how to create a free project It should be taken into account that perhaps on creating a free project in an area where this is not common (for example fields of work different to free software), this task may not be trivial owing -for instance- to its legal implications.

Any project about any topic under licenses which permit the use, copy, modification and distribution of the knowledge or information generated in this project. That is, these kind of projects release free/libre knowledge. Then you give these freedoms:
The freedom to use the knowledge generated in the project, for any purpose.
The freedom to study how the project works, and adapt it to your needs. Access to the project documentation and any other information produced is a precondition (...)
